What is Dart?
Dart is a planning and in-park assistant for Walt Disney World guests. You give Dart your party, dates, priorities, and any fixed blocks. Dart watches Lightning Lane Multi Pass openings in real time, books selections as they drop, and routes the day around your dining and your fixed plans. Lightning Lane launches July 2026; an optional Dining add-on launches Fall 2026.
What is Lightning Lane Multi Pass?
Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) is a paid Walt Disney World service that lets guests reserve return-time windows for select attractions, then enter through the Lightning Lane queue at their reservation time. It replaced the old FastPass and Genie+ systems. Multi Pass selections are made through My Disney Experience and are subject to availability.
What is My Disney Experience?
My Disney Experience (MDE) is The Walt Disney Company's official mobile app and web account for Walt Disney World guests. It manages your tickets, dining reservations, Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections, and resort information. Dart works alongside MDE — never instead of it.
Do I need an annual pass to use Dart?
No. Dart's annual tier is for guests with frequent trips, but Dart is available to all Walt Disney World visitors via single-day passes ($10 LL only / $15 LL + Dining for parties of 1–6) or 5-day packs ($25 LL only / $35 LL + Dining within a 30-day window).
Do I need to be in Florida to use Dart?
No — Dart is for any Walt Disney World guest. The beta program is currently limited to Florida annual passholders for logistical reasons, but the launched product works for any visitor anywhere.
How does Dart work with my MDE account?
Dart connects to your My Disney Experience account through a standard Friends & Family connection, the same way other planning tools in the category do. Dart can see your party roster, tickets, and existing dining; Dart never logs in as you and never makes Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchases on your behalf — you do that in MDE.
What does Dart cost?
Single day: $10 (LL only, 1–6) / $15 (LL + Dining, 1–6) / $15 (LL only, 7+) / $25 (LL + Dining, 7+). Five-day pack within 30 days: $25 / $35 / $35 / $50. Annual (1–6 only): $100 (LL only) / $150 (LL + Dining). Annual is not offered for parties of 7 or more. Sign up before launch and get 25% off any tier through end of 2026.
What's the difference between Lightning Lane and Lightning Lane + Dining tiers?
Lightning Lane is the core product — Dart watches Lightning Lane Multi Pass openings and books them as they drop. LL + Dining adds dining-availability monitoring and booking. The two tiers are a permanent choice, not a price increase. You always have the option to start with Lightning Lane only and upgrade later.
When does Dart launch?
Lightning Lane launches July 2026. The Dining add-on launches in Fall 2026 (1–2 months after Lightning Lane).
When does the dining add-on come?
Fall 2026, 1–2 months after the Lightning Lane launch. Sign up for the interest list now to be notified the moment it goes live.
Can I get a refund if I don't use Dart?
Single-day and 5-day packs are non-refundable but transferable to another date. Annual subscriptions are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Beta participants don't pay during the beta, so refunds don't apply there.
What happens if Dart can't find a Lightning Lane?
Dart watches as long as you want it to and tries to grab the next-best option for your party. Availability is outside our control — there are days when popular attractions simply don't open up. Dart will tell you what it tried, what landed, and what didn't.
Is Dart guaranteed to find me a Lightning Lane?
No. Dart watches and books as quickly as possible within Disney's rules, but availability depends on what Disney releases and how fast everyone else is. We don't use words like "guaranteed" anywhere on this site for a reason.
Can I sometimes do better by searching manually?
Yes — and we'll be straight with you about it. Someone who is actively watching their phone, refreshing the MDE app repeatedly, and tapping the moment something appears can react just as fast as Dart in that specific window. The difference is that Dart watches even when you're not looking: on rides, in line for food, when the kids need something. If you're happy spending your park day with your phone out refreshing, you don't need Dart. Dart is for people who'd rather not.
Can I use Dart at Disneyland?
Not at launch. Walt Disney World only.
Does Dart work with Individual Lightning Lanes?
No. Individual Lightning Lanes are a separate paid product from Disney with different mechanics. Dart focuses on Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
Does Dart work with Virtual Queues?
Not at launch. We may add Virtual Queue support later if there's demand.
Is Dart affiliated with Disney?
No. Dart and HeyDart are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries. All Disney park names, attraction names, and related marks are the property of their respective owners.
How does Dart compare to other Disney planning tools?
The Disney planning tool community is small and friendly, and we've learned from many of the existing options. Most Lightning Lane tools just search. Most dining tools only alert. Dart is conversational instead of form-based, integrated instead of single-purpose, optimizes the whole day around your dining and fixed plans, and starts at $10. We're another option from a different angle, not a disruption.
Who built Dart?
Dart is built by a husband-and-wife team. He's a serial software founder who worked at Disneyland through college and is currently Chief AI Officer at a billion-dollar company. She spent a decade coordinating a graduate research department at a university, started a bespoke travel agency planning custom-tailored trips for families, and homeschools their kids. They're DVC members and annual passholders. Read more on the About page.
Beta program — how does it work?
The beta is open to Florida annual passholders with planned Walt Disney World visits between May 15 and July 15, 2026. Selected testers get one full year of LL + Dining (1–6) access through August 2027. Everyone who applies — selected or not — gets the standard 25% discount code at minimum. Apply through the signup form on the Pricing page.
What if I'm a Disney employee?
Disney cast members are not currently eligible for the beta. We'd love to talk separately about a demo — please email hello@heydart.com. Your interest-list signup will still be processed and you'll receive the 25% discount code.
Does my early-signup discount expire?
Yes — the 25% discount is valid for any tier through the end of 2026. Sign up before then to lock it in; redeem it when you're ready.
How much does HeyDart cost?
HeyDart starts at $10 per party per day (Lightning Lane only, party of 1–6). Pricing is per-party, not per-person. Single day: $10 LL / $15 LL+Dining (1–6); $15 LL / $25 LL+Dining (7+). Five-day pack (use within 30 days): $25 LL / $35 LL+Dining (1–6); $35 LL / $50 LL+Dining (7+). Annual unlimited: $100 LL / $150 LL+Dining (1–6 only). Sign up before launch for 25% off any tier.
What is HeyDart?
HeyDart (also called Dart) is a Disney World Lightning Lane booking assistant and in-park planning tool for Walt Disney World guests. It watches Lightning Lane Multi Pass availability throughout the day and automatically books selections for your party around your dining reservations and fixed plans. It is a third-party tool and is not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company. Lightning Lane feature launches July 2026; Dining add-on launches Fall 2026.
Does Dart work for large groups or parties of 7 or more?
Yes — Dart supports parties of 7 or more on single-day and 5-day packs. The 7+ party tier costs slightly more per booking ($15 single-day LL vs. $10 for 1–6). Annual plans are currently limited to parties of 1–6.
Is there a free trial?
There is no free trial for the launched product. However, approved beta participants get one full year of LL + Dining (1–6) access through August 2027 at no charge. Everyone who applies for the beta — selected or not — receives the 25% pre-launch discount code at minimum.
